Dancing about Architecture

Ironically, Steve Martin was almost right when he said “Talking about music is like dancing about architecture”. The truth is that we dance about architecture every day.  We learn and repeat our individual dances as we move from room to room, building to building and building to landscape.  The richness of the experience is the result of the quality of the setting.  A new setting creates anxiety as we learn a new dance that will usually be repeated if we return.  The dance stops when we get into a car.

The Townlet is designed to provide a rich stage for daily life.
